Birchwood Credit Inc (BCI), a division of Birchwood Automotive Group, is looking for a detail oriented individual for their Automotive Leasing Accountant position. Reporting directly to the Lease Accounting Manager, this role supports the day to day accounting and administration functions within BCI. This includes basic accounting, invoicing, accounts payables as well as project-based assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable processing, reviewing & reconciliation
  • Stocking in inventory units
  • Scanning and filing of documents
  • Responding to sales/customer service team queries
  • Other tasks and projects as required

Located at 136 Lakeside Road, Springfield, Manitoba (by Grand Prix Amusements) Birchwood Credit Inc. (BCI) and Birchwood Credit Solutions (BCS), divisions of the Birchwood Automotive Group, work together as a comprehensive lending provider servicing the subprime sector in the used vehicle sales market.

Essential Skills / Details

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Accounting or Business Admin.
  • Demonstrated success working with Excel, including pivot tables and V-look up
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • A commitment to learning and professional development
  • Willingness to go the extra mile and value the importance of working as a team
  • Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day functions
  • A valid Driver’s License as this location is not on a bus route
  • Accounts payable experience is considered an asset.
